1. STEM Bootcamp
This event aims to inspire young students (13-16 year olds) to opt for STEM vocations through hands-on projects, with a special focus on computer programming and robotics. It is co-organized by Rahimatou Daouda and Peterson Yuhala.2. Computer Science Workshops and Women in CS session
This event promotes computer science education in Cameroon via presentations and workshops, and features sessions to promote women in computer science. It is done within the framework of the Machine Learning, Network, System and Security (MLNS2) project by Inria and CNRS, and is co-organized by Stella Bitchebe, Josiane Kouam, Jordan Gounou, and Nel Nanvou. Who can register for the events?
The STEM bootcamp is for students between the ages of 13-16 inclusive only. For the event on women in computer science, preference will be shown for women/girls, but other students are free to participate if free slots are available. Any student can register for all the other events.

Do I need to pay to attend the events?
Registration and attendance is free for all events.

Will there be coffee and lunch breaks?
There will be coffee and lunch breaks for all events. All associated costs are handled by the organizers.

Do I need particular devices for the events?
All kits for the STEM bootcamp will be provided by the organizers. Having a laptop is recommended for all other tutorials.

Do organizers cover transport or hotel expenses
for participants?
Participants need to cover their transport or hotel expenses. The organizers may provide transport assistance for few students with limited resources.

Could participants obtain a certificate of
participation?
All participants in the STEM bootcamp will be awarded a certificate of participation at the end of the event.
